Designed for use in the pharmacy

  • Unit is designed for use in the Pharmacy to eliminate excessive handling, all safety noise, physical size and dust issues were addressed to make this a reality.
  • Unit can go into new store fixture plans or can be retrofitted into any existing location.

Ease of clean up and disposal

  • Shredded material is discharged into a self-sealing 12 gallon bag. The bag is easily changed by the employee in a minute or less without any spillage or mess. The bag is then disposed of in any outside trash receptacle.

Sequence of Operation

plug into wall outlet The Rx Shredder plugs into any standard wall outlet.

shreddable material The Rx Shredder can handle a variety of material including pressure sensitive labels.

Power on light The control power "on" light shows that the unit is ready to operate.

feeding material A diffuse photocell senses material present in the paper feeding slot. When material is no longer present, the shredder shuts down.

feeding bottles The Rx Shredder can handle pill bottles 4.25" Wide x 5" Tall x 3" Deep. The operator slides the feed door and places objects into the chamber. The feed plunger raises automatically. The operator then closes the feed door.

shredder mechanism The Rx Shredder starts automatically, processes the material, and shuts down automatically.

discharge bag The shredded material is discharged into a 12 gallon self-sealing bag for easy removal.
